Disclaimer

Contents of the website

THEVA assumes no responsibility for the up-to-dateness, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. Liability claims against THEVA, which refer to damages of a material or immaterial nature caused by the use or non-use of the information presented, or by the use of incorrect and incomplete information, are categorically excluded, provided that THEVA is not provably guilty of wilful intent or gross negligence. All offers are subject to change and non-binding. THEVA expressly reserves the right to alter, supplement or delete parts of the web pages or the entire website without a separate announcement, or to cease publication temporarily or permanently.

Legal notice

THEVA constantly checks and updates the information on its websites. Despite all due diligence, it is always possible that the data may have changed. No liability or guarantee for the up-to-dateness, correctness and completeness of the information provided can therefore be assumed.

Privacy

The security of personal data, such as a data subject’s name, address, telephone number or e-mail address, is very important to us. For this reason, we ensure that we are in compliance with the data protection regulations. We will not collect any personal data of any nature through our web pages without your consent. We use your personal data to answer your enquiry, to process your order or to provide you with access to special information or offers. We will not sell your personal data to third parties or otherwise market it. We also wish to point out that we neither collect nor store personal data

Storage of access data

Each time a user accesses a page from THEVA’s website and each time a file is retrieved, access data about this process is stored in a log file on our server.

Each record consists of:

  • the page from which the file was requested (the “referrer URL”)
  • the name of the file
  • the date and time of the request (the “time stamp”)
  • the volume of data transferred
  • the access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
  • a description of the type of internet viewing programme used (the “web browser”, or “browser” for short; e.g. Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Microsoft Internet Explorer, Apple Safari, Opera, etc.)

The stored data will be analysed solely for statistical purposes: it will not be transferred to third parties for either commercial or non-commercial purposes
If the website includes the option of entering personal or business data (e-mail addresses, names, postal addresses), the disclosure of this data by the user takes place on an explicitly voluntary basis. Here, too, your data will be treated confidentially and not passed on to third parties; nor will it be linked to the aforementioned access data.
The users have the right to obtain information, on request and free of charge, on the personal data stored concerning them. In addition, they have the right to rectify, block and erase the said personal data in accordance with the legal provisions.

References and links

We hereby expressly distance ourselves from all contents of all linked pages on our homepage. This declaration applies to all links published on our website. THEVA has no influence whatsoever on the current and future design and content of the linked pages. It therefore hereby expressly dissociates itself from all contents of all linked pages, including those pages that were changed after the link was set.
The provider of the page to which the link led shall be solely liable for any illegal, incorrect or incomplete content and, in particular, for any damages arising due to the use or non-use of such information provided; the party who merely refers to the respective publication via links shall not be liable for the said contents.
Statement concerning all links on this website: The website contains links to other websites (“external links”). We have no influence over whether or not the operators of other websites comply with data protection regulations.

As a provider, THEVA is responsible for its own content in accordance with the general legislation. A distinction is to be drawn between “links” to the content provided by other providers and THEVA’s own content. THEVA assumes no responsibility for third-party content that is provided for use via links and specifically marked as such, and does not adopt  that content as its own. The liability for illegal, incorrect or incomplete content and for any damages resulting from the use or non-use of the information shall rest solely with the provider of the linked website. The editorial team shall only be responsible for third-party information provided that it has positive knowledge of it, i.e. also of any illegal or punishable content, and that it is technically possible and reasonable to prevent its use.
In its judgment of 12 May 1998 – 312 O 85/98 – “Liability for links”, the Regional Court (LG) of Hamburg ruled that through creating a link a provider may, if applicable, share the responsibility for the content of the linked page.
According to the court, this can only be prevented by expressly dissociating oneself from the said content.
We have no influence on the design and content of the linked pages, which is why we expressly dissociate ourselves from all contents of all the linked pages on this website or this server, and do not adopt the content of the linked pages as our own. This declaration applies to all links available on this website or this server, as well as to any existing link lists and forums.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are transmitted to your computer along with the data you request from the Internet. This data is stored there and kept available for later access.
We use cookies in some areas. Cookies may possibly also be used on external linked web pages – i.e. those that are outside our editorial responsibility – without our being able to inform you beforehand.
In particular in the course of registration, what are called „session cookies“ are required, as we use what is called a “single sign-on” concept in order to ensure user-friendliness during authentication and for controlling access to the various areas of our portal.
This includes setting up a “session” between the client and server that enables you to move throughout the portal without having to log in again to access each area. This session is represented by a cookie in which a randomly-generated number is stored.
In addition, your allotted login information (user name, user rights and the validity of the session) will be stored in a further cookie for access control. You can think of it as substitute login credentials. Instead of asking you to re-enter your credentials if necessary, the cookie will be sent to the server and accepted as proof of identity.

Google Maps

This website uses the Google Maps from Google Inc. By using this website, you agree to the collection, processing and use of the data automatically collected by Google Inc., including its representatives and third parties. For Google Maps’ Terms of Use, see “Terms of Use of Google Maps”.

Data protection statement for Google reCAPTCHA

In order to ensure sufficient data security when transmitting forms, in certain cases we utilise Google Inc.’s reCAPTCHA service. This serves, in particular, to distinguish whether the input is being done by a natural person or is being misused through machine and automated processing. The service includes sending the IP address and, if need be, other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google. In this case, the differing data protection provisions of Google Inc apply. You will find further information about Google’s data protection guidelines at  http://www.google.de/intl/de/privacy or https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Validity

The validity of both cookies is limited to the duration of your visit to our portal. They will be automatically deleted when you exit the browser. No linking with personal data takes place, nor is it possible to draw any conclusions about a user’s activities.

Should you expressly request it, you can opt for your user name to be permanently stored in a third cookie at the time of registration. This makes it easier for you to log in if you use the portal frequently, as your user name is already pre-entered in the registration form and you only have to enter your password. We wish to expressly draw your attention to the risks of this procedure, as there is a risk of misuse of your registration data by third parties.
Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. You can, however, disable the storage of cookies or set your browser to notify you as soon as cookies are set.

Xing

The Xing link integrated on our website is not integrated via a Xing “social plugin”. The integrated Xing graphic only contains an HTTP link to our Xing page. This means that no direct connection will be established with the Xing servers when you visit our site.

YouTube

The YouTube link integrated on our website is not integrated via a YouTube “social plugin”. The integrated YouTube graphic only contains an HTTP link to our YouTube page. This means that no direct connection will be established with the YouTube servers when you visit our site.

Use of Facebook Social Plugins

Our website uses social plugins (“plugins”) of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plugins can be recognised by one of the Facebook logos (a white “f” on a blue rectangle or a “thumbs-up” sign), or are indicated through the addition of the words “Facebook social plugin”. The list and appearance of the Facebook social plugins can be viewed here: http://developers.facebook.com/plugins.

If you access a page on our website containing such a plugin, your browser will establish a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin will be transmitted directly to your browser by Facebook and integrated into the website by it. We therefore have no influence over the amount of data that Facebook collects using this plugin and therefore inform you in accordance with our level of knowledge.

Through the integration of the plugins, Facebook receives the information that you have accessed the relevant page on our website. If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins – e.g. by clicking the Like button or leaving a comment – the relevant information will be transmitted directly to Facebook by your browser and stored there. If you are not a member of Facebook, it is nonetheless possible that Facebook will find out your IP address and store it.

To learn more about the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by Facebook and your related rights and settings options for protecting your privacy, please visit Facebook’s data protection notice: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php
If you are a Facebook member and do not wish Facebook to collect data about you via our website nor to link it with your membership data saved on Facebook, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.
