There are many different concepts for fusion generators, one of them being the stellarator. One test reactor which is a stellarator is “Wendelstein 7-X”. Paul Huslage from Max-Planck Institute in Garching with his team used its geometry for a superconducting coil model which he 3D-printed. This model was then filled with THEVA superconductors to prove the feasibility of such a geometry for HTS.
